Our beloved home  is currently run as a B&B and has been a source of joy, warmth, and hospitality  welcoming cyclists and all,  for the past 10 years

Loubieres village  is surrounded by farmland and woodland, boasting a mix of old and new buildings, including a magnificent 12th-century chateau. The community is diverse, with inhabitants of varying ages, contributing to the thriving and welcoming atmosphere.

 

The village is located approx. 1km from St Jean de Verges train station, 1.5km from the N20 (Toulouse Andorra), approx.  70km Toulouse and Carcassonne airports. Supermarkets,
shops within 5km from the house, easily accessible by bike.  There is a bike path Foix to St Girons (VR81)approx. 1km away. 

Foix is the closest town, just 5km away, being steeped in medieval and modern history and is the administrative centre for the Ariege.  The centrepiece being the magnificent Cathar castle which dominates the town from all angles.  The town is a thriving hub for locals where shops, cafes, restaurants can be found frequented by locals and tourists alike, it has that good open vibe all year round.
